 October 2, 2001

Much has happened to me in the last 4 months. My dad went to meet Jesus May 29th and a week later I learned that I no longer had a job teaching at SELU School of Nursing. Well God has been literally stripped me down to the that brokenness He looks for when growing us. I have been unemployed since the end of May and God has taken care of me all summer with seeing about 6 clients, never bouncing a check and humbling me to the bottom. I am still being called to sit still so as of today Horses of Hope still doesn't have a permanent home. Yesterday I learned I have to move the horses by the end of October because sweet Sandra has found a job in Baton Rouge and is moving back to BR.  SO Father it is all in your hands...I still believe without a doubt, in my heart that God ministers to those who chose to develop a relationship with a horse...not me. I am a privileged observer in the process and
I feel very blessed to be chosen to do this work. In saying that I have to share that God has closed all doors and windows and I am obediently waiting for Him to open a big door, bringing me a job and a home for Samm, Blue and Chaz. Please keep Horses of Hope as well as me in your prayers.  Please contact me if you are in crisis are in need of ministry.

    In Christ,
Rebecca
